1999 Proof Set

Description: The 1999 Proof Set was produced by the Royal Australian Mint and comprises of six coins struck to Proof quality. The theme for the 1999 Proof Set was an acknowledgment of the United Nations decision to designate 1999 as ‘International Year of Older Persons’. A commemorative $1 coin was especially struck to mark the occasion.
