2024 $10 Out of This World Australia In Space ‘C’ Mintmark Gold Proof Coin

Description: The Australian Space Agency has collaborated with the Royal Australian Mint to produce the 2024 “Out of this World Australia in Space” coin series. This 9999 fine 1/10oz gold coin depicts the new portrait of King Charles III by Daniel Thorne, a Royal Mint designer. The reverse of the coin depicts a rocket, an astronaut, and a satellite. The satellite is WRESAT 1, Australia’s first satellite which was launched from Woomera in 1967 using a rocket donated by the USA.
