2018 Proof Set

Description: This 2018 Armistice Centenary Proof Set marks 100 years since the end of fighting on the Western Front in WWI. The Royal Australian Mint commemorates the centenary of the Armistice with a commemorative $1 coin. The reverse design of this commemorative $1 has two halves – the lower half shows a series of stylised military motifs, while the upper half shows a number of growing poppies – flowers that have long been used as symbols of remembrance.
