Definitions
‘Delivery Address’ is the address where the Goods are to be delivered and for security purposes, must be a street address. Under certain circumstances we will deliver to a business address but only with certain protocols in place. ‘Delivery Fee’ is the fee payable for delivery/transit of the Goods to your Delivery Address. ‘Re-Delivery Fee’ is the fee payable should we have to re-deliver an Order because you are not at the Delivery Address to receive the Goods. ‘Goods’ are the coins and banknotes listed on our website for purchase and includes any miscellaneous items on offer. ‘Order’ is an order placed by you to purchase Goods from us. ‘Order Confirmation’ is the order confirmation we send to you after processing your Order. ‘Services’ is the provision of an online shopping and delivery service of Goods and associated Services. ‘Our website’ means https://melbournecoinshop.com.au and all related pages. ‘We/Our/Us’ means Australian Rare Coins & Notes and includes its owners, employees, contractors and affiliates. ‘User/You/Your’ means any user of our website, accessing our Services and/or purchasing Goods and Services from our website.

You may register and set up a personal account if you wish to place Orders for Goods. You are responsible for ensuring your account details are accurate, complete and up-to-date at all times. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account, and any related passwords. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account including any Orders placed via your account.
Availability & pricing
All items shown on our website are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. All prices shown are in $AUD (Australian Dollars), include G.S.T (Goods and Services Tax) and are correct at the time of issue and subject to change without notice.
Payment
When you submit an Order, you must provide billing and delivery information. All advertised amounts are in Australian dollars. We accept payment via Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard only) PayPal, Stripe and by Direct Deposit.
Completion of order policy
You must provide various personal information and a recognised Delivery Address to submit an Order for Goods.
We may require you to provide additional information before we accept and process an Order. We reserve the right to decline to process any Order when requested Goods are not available or if we perceive there is an error in the price or description.
We also reserve the right after receipt of your Order, to accept, decline, or limit your request. A right that we may exercise at our sole discretion at any time, without providing you with any reason for our decision. When we decline to accept and process any Order under our Completion of Order Policy, we will refund you in full any monies originally received from you.

Delivery
You agree to pay the Delivery Fee for delivery to your Delivery Address.
Goods may be delivered by Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies of our choice. Deliveries are processed as promptly as possible upon receipt of full payment. Where possible we will confirm the estimated shipping dates with you.
Whilst we take all reasonable steps to ensure Goods are received in good condition, in a timely manner, and to the correct address, we cannot guarantee these steps. Furthermore, we do not take responsibility for any circumstances beyond our control that lead to delays in shipping Goods or for Goods that for any reason are not delivered.

You acknowledge and agree:
- That anyone at the Delivery Address who takes receipt of the Goods is authorised to receive those Goods and where applicable sign for the Goods on your behalf;
- That in the event there is no one at the Delivery Address, or no appropriate person to receive and sign for the Order, the Goods will not be delivered and a Re-Delivery Fee, may apply;
- That if you specifically request that the Goods be left at the Delivery Address without any person responsible, you assume all risks associated with the security of the Goods from the drop-off time;
- Otherwise, all risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery.
Refunds, returns & cancellations
If the Goods you receive are faulty or are different from a sample displayed on our website then you may elect to exchange the Goods or receive a refund or a credit for the same amount. In these circumstances we will also reimburse the return shipping costs to you and will replace any damaged item/s (if available) when returned to us in original packaging as supplied.
We expect you to notify us of any faulty Goods within 24 hours of receipt of the Goods with a photograph of the Goods in their original packaging showing any defects, damage or otherwise.
To qualify for any replacement, refund or credit, it is your responsibility to ensure that Goods are returned in their original condition, are shipped with a tracking number and with transit insurance in place.
Please note: We do not offer refunds for ‘change of mind’. However, in some circumstances, at our sole discretion, we may provide a refund or credit. It is your responsibility to provide the full details surrounding your expectations and the reasons why you would like us to consider a refund or credit. Any refund or credit based on ‘change of mind’ will be provided less all postage and insurance costs, if returned in original (undamaged) condition within seven days of receipt.
If you wish for any reason to cancel an Order after it has been placed, you will need to cancel your order by notifying us through the Contact Us form or calling the office direct no later than 24 hours after placing your order.
Valuations
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that all valuations we provide are as accurate as possible. Our valuations are in the main provided for insurances purposes and or replacement values unless otherwise specifically stated in the valuation. We base our valuations on relevant available data and the particular market conditions at the date of the valuation. The replacement values are our opinion only and do not reflect any future values, predictions or market conditions. Valuations may also include descriptions of quality, workmanship, age, origin and general wear and tear. These descriptions are solely based on our opinions at the time of inspection.
Valuations must not be reproduced without our prior written authority. Valuations are for your personal use only and not for the use of any third party. Whilst we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for any errors or omissions in the valuation, including liability to any person due to negligence. And we are not liable or responsible to any third party in respect of our valuation services.
Authenticity guarantee
We provide a 100% authenticity guarantee on our Goods. Our Goods are graded according to the ANDA (Australian Numismatic Dealers Association) the IBNS (International Banknote Society) grading standards.
