1960-1961 Last Pre-decimal 4 note QEII Reserve Bank Type Set

Description: 1960-1961 Last Pre-decimal 4 note QEII Reserve Bank Type Set. Included in this set is an example of each of Australia’s last four pre-decimal banknotes prior to the decimal currency changeover in 1966. All four banknotes display the Coombs Wilson signatures and are all Reserve Bank issues. A further point of note is that all four denominations, the Ten Shillings, One Pound, Five Pounds and Ten Pounds included in this Type Set are all examples of the last Australian pre-decimal banknotes to be issued in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
