Description: The Fiji 1971 One Dollar is part of the 1969 – 1971 decimal series. Its obverse side features the Coat of Arms of Fiji and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. The reverse side features a view of the Yanuca beach in Yasewa. A solid security thread and Fijian head watermark enhance its security features. The note is signed by C. A. Stinson, chairman of the currency board.
